April 20, 2009 - Tom Brokaw Visits Jimmie & Sook's!
  NBC's Tom Brokaw was in Cambridge, MD, throughout the week, filming the first segment for a series of news reports (later to become a documentary). After a lunch at Jimmie & Sook's Raw Bar & Grill in downtown Cambridge , he and his production crew stayed around to interview J&S owner Amanda Bramble. Amanda, a Dorchester County native who comes from a family of watermen, talked about crabs, watermen, their way of life, and how she came to start Jimmie & Sook's, which is all about showcasing the bounty and the lifestyle of watermen. Amanda was cool, calm, and collected as she and Mr. Brokaw stood talking in the middle of J&S, surrounded by cameras and crew members (and a few onlookers).
